Christmas “Merry Christmas Cake Box”

These special boxes will pique anyone’s curiosity about the Christmas cakes they contain, especially when the boxes are big.

The cake box in this show window features peep holes or openings you can peer through to view the cake inside. The cake itself is a glinting, sparkling work of art that turns like a merry-go-round.

These visual permutations, recalling a dance of chocolate and berries, were inspired by an animation device called the praxinoscope, on whose basic principles this work of art is based.
