Within mundane scenes of daily life, festivals, and other ordinary happenings, stories of nameless, unknown people can be found, quietly unfolding. Kana Inatsune closely explores such moments, thinking back on the actions and routines of people depicted by artists in the past while portraying the lives of people in our present day. This exhibition features works depicting the lives of many different people, realized through reflection on memories and experiences of scenes witnessed by the artist in locales throughout Japan.
