銅板を金鎚で打ち起こす、無形登録文化財鎚起銅器。

1816年の創業より200余年、新潟・燕三条で鎚起銅器製作一筋に歩んできました。茶器や酒器を中心に、日常使いの銅器を扱っています。玉川堂の銅器は使えば使うほど艶や味わいが増し、唯一無二のものになります。職人の手から生まれた銅器を生活の中に取り入れ、自らの手で育ててみませんか。400枚の銅板を職人が叩いて製作した店内意匠もぜひご覧ください。

Founded in 1816, Gyokusendo has devoted over 200 years to the craft of hand-hammered copperware in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata. We create copperware for everyday use, with a particular focus on tea utensils and sake vessels.
With continued use, Gyokusendo’s copperware develops a deeper luster and richer character, becoming truly one of a kind. Bring a piece shaped by the hands of skilled artisans into your daily life, and allow it to mature through your own use.
