Celebrating its 40th anniversary in business, Oita's folded food specialty store “Kyo-ya Honten” is a renowned restaurant that also serves onboard cuisine for the “Nanatsuboshi in Kyushu” cruise train. The “Cream Cheese Saikyo-yaki” is a superb dish made by carefully selecting French cream cheese, marinating it for a long time in a homemade Saikyo miso (soybean paste) bed, and topping it with products from their own farm “Kyoya no Mori” (Kyoya Forest). Enjoy this top-quality sake snack that goes well with not only wine, but also dry sake and sparkling wine.
